I Should/Could soooo Write a Book

I am thinking of writing a book. I am so serious about this. After spending time with my mom, dad, brother, Teal, TJ, and Elleah last week and retelling all the same ol' hilarious stories that never get old to us, I thought to myself, this has GOT to be written down somewhere... documented!! lol Let me just say, my dad, my brother, and my husband are the funniest men I have ever met. Pretty cool huh? I get to be around these guys all the time, yay me! Well when we are all together, we are constantly retelling stories. Stories about when mom chased Mike with a meat tenderizer and he managed to knock HIMSELF out cold when running away. Or when dad tells ANY story about work!! He somehow makes a story about a dead guy in the parking lot funny! Or when TJ was little and thought that the big red bag in his Grandma's bathtub was for blowing bubbles, it sooooo wasnt. hahahahaha. Or like that time TJ got his truck stuck in the sand when trying to drive it on to the beach, backing up traffic and making every car behind him move so that he can get pulled out. Oh wait, that happened TODAY!!!! hahahahahahahha it is always something with us crazy folks. Rarely does a week go by without new material for a great book. And do not EVEN get me started on all the material Elleah provides. So what do ya think? Think I should call a publisher?? lol. Or maybe just tell these stories randomly on my blog.......

FYI - THIS IS NOT USED FOR BUBBLE BLOWING!!!! no no no!!

Crap I Found in my Bag -

So when I started going through my purse tonight.... I found a few random things. I really don't understand how half this crap ends up in my bag!! But I thought that this MUST be shared! SO here is the pic....

Yes, that is a single fruit loop!!! And I did not buy gum, or chew any.... how did it get there? Oh yea, 3 red hots.... oh geez katie! Not sure what I carry a screw driver for, maybe an emergency shelf hanging contest! There seems to be a mickey sticker missing. The diapers I get! Not sure what that random cord goes to! 5 dum dums... those speak for themselves - so do the 2 peptos....lol! Good thing I don't carry a small purse like I did when I was 13.... hahaha. Come to think of it, maybe a small purse is the way to go. Ya can't carry what doesn't fit!!

Katie and Texas, Texas and Katie!

Ah, spent another week in Texas. Katie and Texas, Texas and Katie. We are like two peas in a pod. Hahaha. Not really. I always have a nice and relaxing time when I am there, but I am just not used to living 45 minutes away from a loaf of bread. By golly, if I need some milk, I like to be able to get up and go get my milk. In Texas (the town TJ's parents live in), you spend more money in gas going to get the bread or milk, than you do on the actual items. But on the brighter side, it is so quiet and relaxing out there. We spent most of the time relaxing in a yard swing under the trees watching Elleah play. She loves it out there because there is just no limit to where she can go and play. Elleah insists on being the official chicken feeder. It is adorable when she runs out towards the pen yelling "nicken, nicken". hahaha. Ever heard of a gourd? Yeah, me neither. But apparently birds like to nest in them and TJ's dad had some, so I painted them up! I know it was  little rowdy of me to go there, but birds like pretty houses too. He wanted them red white and blue, and they are. But I added swirlies and dots, flowers and stars. hehe. Hope he liked them!!! Know what else I did in Texas? Wait for it.... wait for it.... I teamed up with TJ's mom and beat TJ and his dad in a game on canasta! Yep!! Wild Katie strikes again! Great stay, but glad to be headed home. We got what we needed to get done and now I need to start that process at my own house!! Spring Cleaning, gardening, and organizing.... here I come!!

I forgot the camera - no, I do NOT want to talk about it!

I know, its been a while. I just seem to be so busy! The only store that I started has been doing pretty good. NOT GREAT, but enough to keep me busy!! HOWEVER....

.....I MUST MUST MUST blog about this past weekend! I had such an amazing time with my little family. We woke up Saturday morning and headed down to Orlando! Why Orlando Because that is where the Braves have their Spring Training of course!!!! I made it my mission to get to at least one Spring Training game this year!! Mission accomplished!!!!

And I had to make sure Elleah dressed the part and represented the right folks....
And we HAD to take our pic with the Braves' Mikey..... she was quite amazed....
We got our seats in the grassy area like we did last year! It is so much fun there, and PERFECT when you have a toddler! We took a blanket and laid it out, and Elleah just ran and ran and ran....

During batting practice, a security guy got a foul ball and thought Elleah was soooo cute, so he gave it to her...

The grassy area is actually quite convenient, because it is right in front of the main reason I went.....

What a fun day!! Elleah kept yelling "Hey Ball" and waving! And when the crowd got loud, she raised her arms up in a "touchdown" motion! It was hilarious! She also got her time on the big screen (no pic, boo, it all happened so fast). In between innings, a camera guy came up behind us but TJ had taken Elleah with him to get ice cream. The lady sitting near us told the camera guy that he HAD to wait until Elleah got back because everyone HAD to see her! It was so sweet! He actually waited and when they got back, Elleah started dancing to the music playing and he got her up on the screen!! How special!
In the end, Elleah couldn't hang.... she got SO exhausted!! She barely made it out of the stadium.... but she was SUCH a good girl! We went back to the hotel and slept for a few hours! THEN we woke her up and headed to Downtown Disney!
Our hotel was right there, so we thought, WHY NOT?!

We just walked around for the mos part and let Elleah see everything! I had been there before, but seeing it all with Elleah was like seeing it all for the first time!! She saw and pointed at SO many things! WOW was her favorite word. We of course had to visit the World of Disney and she tried taking so many thing home but putting them in her stroller....

We settled on a traditional Minnie toy! She has slept with it since we got it!! There was also this CUTE store called LittleMissMatched! Ever heard of it? They only sell things that are miss-matched and odd numbered. Like they sell 3 socks together and none of them match! It was great!
http://www.littlemissmatched.com/
I took that pic, but found a link to the store.... I am sure some of you have heard of it, but I hadn't and I LOVED the concept! (I should get a commission for promoting their store...lol)

We of course had to ride the carousel too.... ever since Elleah rode her first carousel, there has not been one that we passed that Elleah did not want to ride!
After taking a boat ride back to the other side of Downtown Disney, we decided to go, but Elleah felt the need to say "bye bye doggie" to this gator looking thing that spun around on this building! So we did! We sat there, and we said Bye Bye Doggie 94759386793867 times! What a mess!

And thought I would throw a random pic of my two loves in there....

The End
(for now at least)
